Competition Terms & Conditions – Website Launch Competition
By participating in any competition or giveaway advertised by Sage Journal on its Instagram page, Facebook page, other social media channels and/or website (the “Competition”), you confirm that you accept and agree to these competition terms.
Eligibility
The competition is open to residents of New Zealand only. Entrants must be 16 years or older.
Entry Period
The competition ends on 31st of March 2024.
How to Enter
To enter, participants must register their name and email address on the website (email subscribe forms). One entry per person is allowed.
Prize
Prizes includes a $250 Canopy Camping voucher, Sun People Co L’Ombra Sun Tent, Slowlife Collection Picnic Cushions and five Sage Journal x Mollie Howard Pansy Caps.
The winners will be selected randomly from eligible entries.
Prizes are not refundable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
Winner Notification
The winner will be notified via email within one week of the competition closing. If the winner does not respond within 5 days, a new winner may be selected.
Data Sharing
By entering the competition, participants consent to their name and email address being used for future email communications by Sage Journal. The data will not be shared with any third parties.
Disqualification
The organisers reserve the right to modify, suspend or cancel the competition if circumstances arise that are beyond their control.
Governing Law
The competition is governed by the laws of New Zealand.
Privacy
By entering the competition, participants consent to their name and email address being shared with Sage Journal.
The provided data may be used by Sage Journal for future marketing communications.
Participants may receive promotional emails from Sage Journal.
Participants have the right to access, update, and correct any of their personal information.

6. Sage Journal Gardening Series Membership
On accepting our terms and conditions of participation and paying the relevant membership fee, you will be given membership access to Sage Journal website for the period covered by the membership fee.
Sage Journal membership access is personal to you. You must not provide your password or other login information to other people who have not paid the relevant membership fee.
You are responsible for protecting your passwords and other login information. You are responsible for any usage of your account using your login credentials. You must notify us immediately on becoming aware of any actual or suspected unauthorised use of your account. These terms apply between you and us only, and you acknowledge that we have no responsibility to any person other than you, the account holder. Nothing in these terms confers a right or benefit on any other person.
We can modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the membership access at any time, with or without notice.
We can cancel your membership access immediately without notice if you breach these terms and we reasonably consider that the breach (alone or together with any past breaches) exposes us to a cost or risk of some kind, or may have a negative impact on us or our products, services or systems. If we do this we’re not obliged to provide a refund. Closure of your account will end the contract between you and us based on these terms. However, all the remaining provisions of these terms set out below will survive and continue indefinitely.
7. If We Cannot Provide Full Service
If Sage Journal is prevented from performing its obligations due to any force majeure event (including but not limited to sickness, fire, casualty, accident, act of God, natural disaster, electricity or communications failures or other causes whatsoever beyond the reasonable control of Sage Journal), we will be excused from such performance to the extent of the force majeure event.
8. Limitations on our liability
Your use of the website is solely at your own risk. As far as permitted by law, we are not responsible for any loss or damage that you may suffer in connection with your use of or reliance on the website, except to the extent that we cause or contribute to the loss or damage through our breach of these terms or our unlawful conduct. We will not be liable to you for any loss of profits, opportunity, data, business or contract, any indirect or consequential loss, or any exemplary, incidental, special or punitive damages, arising from or in connection with the website or these terms.
9. Sage Journal Shop
For the processing of payments on the Sage Journal Shop, we use a third party software, being the Stripe Payments system.
Your use of the Sage Journal Shop is always subject to your and their compliance with any terms of use of the third party software. Any breach by you of the terms of use of the third party software will be a breach of these terms. If at any time you breach the terms of use of the third party software, you will not be permitted to use the Sage Journal Shop.
